Barrier Safety Solutions has the unique capability of developing your safety manuals utilizing a Risk- Based approach. BSS will develop your safety manual from the ground up, review, and revise your existing manual. BSS can update your safety manual to be site specific and fit for purpose to the oil and gas industry.

BSS will conduct a site specific HAZID prior to drafting your site-specific manual because the cornerstone of an effective manual is to clearly define the hazards.
The manual will be laid out so it is easy to read and understand the content and will be based on the 5 fundamental principles outlined below:
- Plan Work Scope
- Identify Hazards
- Risk Assessment and Controls
- Review Administrative Barriers (HSE Manuals and Procedures)
- Pre-Job Discussion
After the HAZID and first draft of the manual is completed, the company will review and make additions/deletions as necessary.
BSS will then finalize the manual, and provide you with both a hard copy and a CD so you can update the manual as needed.
